In this day and age, real-time mobility is crucial to drive end-user productivity. Users need instantaneous access to their email, calendar, and address book. IBM Traveler provides just that, enabling a wide range of mobile devices to securely synchronize critical data over-the-air for quick access.
The beginning of each year, Notes and other IBM products enthusiasts come to ConnectED (formerly Lotusphere) to discover the latest innovations dedicated to communication solutions in collaborative environments. With the tag line "a new way to engage", IBM really wants to show it's collaborative and analytical vision of how we work. IBM had the same idea in November 2014 when they announced IBM Verse, which is now one of the stars at ConnectED 2015.
We are already reaching the end of the year and it’s time to predict what will be happening in 2015. In terms of Enterprise Mobility, end user demand is not fully satisfied by IT departments. Indeed, IT departments are facing two big issues; how to protect critical data and how to ensure an optimized service delivered to end users in a mobile friendly world?
We recorded the webinar made this week around IBM Traveler and we are really pleased to share it with the IBM community.
Thanks to everyone who joined us this week for this hugely successful webinar on IBM Notes Traveler. Based on the large number of questions and useful feedback we received, it's clear that there is a high level of interest for Traveler in the IBM universe. The podcast will be available tomorrow, so stay tuned!
