GSX Monitor & Analyzer v10.5 launched today - This release expands on toolsets for SharePoint, Exchange, Domino, Traveler, and BES, demonstrating GSX’s continued commitment towards providing the best messaging and collaboration experience to its customers.

The latest improvements include enhanced reporting and user-based processing to strengthen performance as well as the overall user experience, which was a top priority for our team. This release brings a particular focus on SharePoint, but we included interesting new features for the other platforms we support as well.

So what benefits does this latest release offer for SharePoint?

It proactively checks the key services users need to use at the site, server, and the farm level.

A Powerful Consolidated Dashboard: The SharePoint Overview displays a comprehensive overview of your servers organized by Web Front-end servers, Application servers and SQL servers with availability statuses on each of them.

and any other related applications services including custom application services, SharePoint applications services and Third party applications services.

Manage the Availability of your SharePoint Site. Receive alerts when something starts to go wrong. GSX monitors the size and performance of the SharePoint Site by controlling growth at the site collection level and Content Database level.

See your Web Front-End at a glance. View how it performs based on the availability and performance statistics you choose in order to quickly identify bottlenecks in your environment.

Manage the SharePoint SQL Environment by checking the SQL servers, the Content Databases and the configuration databases. Offering more than just availability, you can obtain alerts on the growth of the SQL environment around site collections and Content Databases.

Manage the SharePoint Farm and detect any problems that could impact your end-users by   performing complex scenarios to be sure that the SharePoint Farm is working as expected.

Enhanced Reporting on SharePoint on Periodic Statistics for Content Databases as well as on SharePoint availability statistics for each role.
