  MSA Names Dale R. Anderson Senior V.P. of North American Media

PITTSBURGH, PA - Apr. 15, 2002 - Dale R. Anderson, former Senior Vice President of Application Development for Viacom International, has been named Senior Vice President of North American Media, a division of Management Science Associates, Inc. (MSA). The announcement was made today by Dr. Alfred A. Kuehn, founder and chairman of MSA, a Pittsburgh-based provider of information technology solutions. The position will report to Cathy Opsitnick, Senior Executive Vice President of MSA, according to Dr. Kuehn.

"Mr. Anderson will lead the Media Division, which provides leading-edge, value-added software to the cable and broadcast industries. He brings more than 11 years of experience in those industries and a strong professional service background in building and implementing large-scale business solutions," Dr. Kuehn said.

"He will be responsible for the strategic direction for MSA's suite of media solutions and be responsible for the application teams that develop and support the marketing, distribution and on-going maintenance of MSA's integrated Advertising Sales Software Applications. He will work to identify internal synergies with other MSA business lines and endeavor to open new business channels in the media service industry. He is uniquely suited for this position and we are thrilled to have him," Dr. Kuehn said.

Mr. Anderson's more than 18 years experience in information management includes the post of Vice President, Application Development-Ad Sales for MTVN and Director, Application Development, for Showtime. Prior to that he served as Director of Strategic Accounts and Director of Product Development for Information Management Associates, a software company specializing in Telemarketing, Telephony and Distribution software.

He received his A.S. in Computer Science from Norwalk State Technical College and also attended both Western Connecticut State University, where he majored in Business Administration, and the Wharton Business School, studying Financial Systems Integration.

A native of Danbury, CT, Mr. Anderson and his wife, Nancy, currently reside in Newtown, CT, and are the parents of two small children, David and Julia.
