Is the Microsoft Exchange Admin Community still powerful?

Posted by Meryll Moreau on Tue, Oct 02, 2012

The Microsoft Exchange Conference is over and we have to admit that we have a better understanding of why MEC came back. The event was a great experiment for us as a company, as well as a team. It gathered more than 1,500 Exchange admins, Unified Messaging IT professionals and Microsoft Exchange MVPs who made it all a first class event - We had very high expectations and MEC totally delivered!

GSX has been heavily involved within the Microsoft community environment ever since we came out with version 9 of GSX Monitor and Analyzer. It has been important for us to meet face to face with this powerful community of Microsoft Exchange specialists.

We have had the opportunity to demo the latest version of our blockbuster solution to prospects, potential partners and Microsoft experts who could experiment with the product more in depth. They gave us precious feedback and confirmed the business value of using an all in one monitoring and reporting solution to manage both Exchange and SharePoint.

The features revealed by our prospects as main benefits are

  • Our Multi platform approach: monitoring the performance of Exchange, SharePoint and BlackBerry environments from one single interface
  • A monitoring and reporting solution to monitor manage and report pro actively
  • A powerful Reporting product that uses the most important metrics to track availability, capacity, and usage
  • An agentless solution
  • Exchange Overview that displays a comprehensive overview of all Exchange servers and clusters, organized by role with availability status on roles and clusters

Last but not least we had our E-Space invaders at the MEC and it was a great success! We had lots of people come and play our game finding the critters all over the show floor. You can continue to engage with us and vote for the picture you like best on Facebook.

We would like to thank our friends Scott Schnoll, Jean-Peter Bruzzese and Derek Kerr for their support and great advice making this event a tremendous success for us once again.

The Microsoft Exchange Conference really rocked this year!
